Wow Brownies started with two brothers, a love of baking, and a simple goal: make brownies that genuinely make people say 'wow.'
Meet Ben & Josh
We're Ben and Josh, brothers and co-founders of Wow Brownies. We're an Edmonton-based small-batch bakery creating gourmet brownies and blondies from scratch using high quality ingredients and a whole lot of curiosity. Josh is a Red Seal Chef with over 10 years in the culinary industry and a passion for baking. Ben brings years of entrepreneurial experience, and an almost unreasonable love of brownies. Together, we started experimenting, testing flavours, and building what would eventually become Wow Brownies.

Why Wow?
The name actually came from something Ben noticed long before the business existed. Whenever Josh brought food to work, family gatherings, or friends, the reaction was almost always the same:
Wow.
Our Journey So Far
When we launched in 2024, we baked 24 boxes of our gourmet brownies and went to a single farmers' market table, genuinely unsure if we'd sell even one box. Since then, Wow Brownies has grown into a community-driven bakery with nearly 40 brownie and blondie flavours rotating throughout the year, and tens of thousands of brownies shared across Edmonton.
